CloudTrack works exclusively with u-blox CEL + GNSS combo modules to optimize IoT asset tracking. The CloudTrack application handles all the complex interfaces between the cellular modem, the GNSS receiver, and the Wi-Fi module (if available). Our Thingstream SIM card provides ultra-low-power, secure, global connectivity.
CloudTrack delivers the location based on the priorities that you set and the data available:
• Location in cloud: When a few updates per day are required. Calculates position in cloud for ultra-low power.
• Location in cloud (no/poor GNSS): Calculates approximate position using cellular and Wi-Fi network attributes.
• Location on device: When frequent updates are required. Utilizes assisted GNSS for faster TTFF and low power.
